About TimerOverlay
TimerOverlay started with a simple problem. I was editing a video and needed a count-up timer on screen. I spent far too long searching, and found only green-screen clips in the wrong length, the wrong font, or with a watermark.
So I built the tool I wanted: pick your timer, style it, download it, and drop it straight into your editor.
What makes it different
- Transparent downloads. No green screen to key out in Resolve, Premiere, OBS or CapCut desktop. Green-screen MP4 is there too for phones.
- Count up or count down, any length, starting from any time you choose.
- Timed colour changes, flashing, and text at the finish, like “TIME’S UP”.
- Steady digits. Every number takes the same width, so the timer doesn’t wobble as it changes.
- Free, no sign-up, no watermark. Your timer is made in your browser and never uploaded.
Who’s behind it
TimerOverlay is made by BlueHoodie, an independent maker based in Malaysia.
